Quinta dos Frades
This is from very old, grade A vineyards, well situated between Pinhao and Regua. Excellent for the money, with depth, balance, and although ripe and pretty dense, the dominance of Touriga Franca contributes restraint. Made by one of our favourite winemakers, Anselmo Mendes of Vinho Verde fame.
